Vivit is pleased to announce the 2018 Board of Directors Call for Nominations.
Nominations for the 2018 Vivit Board of Directors are being accepted between February 8 and March 2, 2018. Please consider nominating members who are involved with Vivit and who you believe will provide leadership in continuing to advance our pillars of advocacy, community and education to the Micro Focus user community.
Directors have the opportunity to work with other leaders to help drive the future of our user community during this dynamic and exciting time of change. Board service provides a chance to grow both personally and professionally; it is an opportunity to develop skills while working with a team of other dedicated professionals.
Vivit’s policy is that members of the Board of Directors may not be employees of Micro Focus; however, employees of Micro Focus partners and Micro Focus customers may be nominated for and elected to the board. All nominations must be received by midnight March 2, 2018 eastern standard time.
There will be five openings to fill (three at a 3-year term, one at a 2-year term and one at a 1-year term), and though each member of the Vivit board serves as an officer or committee chair, nominations are for general positions on the board, not for specific offices. All nominations will be reviewed by a nominations committee made up of a subset of the current members of the board of directors, Vivit staff, and Vivit SIG and LUG leaders.
